Nick Batton is a songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist for the Indie/Pop band Chil.
Chil formed in 2007 by brothers Nick and Ben Batton in the suburbs of Akron, Ohio. Nick’s accomplishments with Chil include; recording 3 EPs, numerous singles, and learning from some of the best songwriters & producers in the industry. Chil has gone on to receive radio play in 6 countries in Europe, as well as, the United States and Canada. With Chil, Nick has had the pleasure of performing with many notable acts; As It Is, CRUISR, Jesse McCartney, Rae Sremmurd, Sammy Adams, Trendy, and more.
Nick’s resume features writing and recording with Austin Bello (Forever the Sickest Kids), Al Groves (Producer of Bring Me The Horizon’s That’s the Spirit), Rian Dawson (All Time Low), and other talented professionals.
Nick currently works out of his home studio near Kent, OH, where he plans to write with & develop the area’s best musicians.
